TRAVEL WITH US
Each trip, we focus on a main project to help enrich the lives of the children at House of Hope and Hope 12:21 orphanages. We also reach out into the community of Montrouis and visit schools, churches, and other villages in the area. We encourage bringing supplies and activities for the children at the orphanage on each trip. Medical supplies, educational supplies, clothing, shoes and toys are always needed.
(2018 Planned trips)
Trip 1: (extended from December -January 6) Holiday and Haitian Independence Day Celebration. We will enjoy spending the Holidays with our family and friends in Haiti. Experience a Christmas and New Year Celebration with our loved ones in Haiti. Open spots available.
Trip 2: (February 11-17) Health and Wellness Haiti style. Our friends at Birds of a Feather Missions will join us to teach, host clinics and classes encourage our children and the entire community.
Trip 3 March 23-30 This is a closed trip
Trip 4 March 27-April 4th. Easter with the children at House of Hope. Heather Hood our seamstress will spend time with the ladies from our sewing program. Introducing a new product and also have a business meeting with the ladies. We will work with the Heroes of Hope Soccer team and prepare their Clubhouse.
Trip 5 May 13-20 This is a closed trip
Trip 6 August 7-15 Lets Get Out and Dance Summer Camp. This trip will be full of activities for the children at House of Hope. Our friends from Project Grace will join us for the 4th time. Teaching ballet, tap, and yoga. Updates to come soon.
Trip 7 January 4-9 Holiday Celebration
We will have a fun and exciting week celebrating with the children although it will be post Christmas, the kids will have a great time with gifts, parties, workshops and much more.

Included in the cost of the trip:
* Lodging and Meals
* Cost of supplies for trip project
* Payment to local Haitians for labor
Cost: The average cost of a trip is $1500. A $250.00 deposit is required upon acceptance of the trip. 1/2 cost of the trip is due 60 days prior to the trip and remaining 1/2 us due 30 days prior to the trip. *Group rates and Alumni rates are available.
Airfare: Airfare is not included. However, you will receive suggested flight information at least 45 days prior to your trip and your flight must be booked at least 30 days prior to the trip.
Fundraising: You are welcome to fundraise for your trip as donations made in your name to HOH are considered tax-deductible. Any money raised over the cost of your trip will be considered a gift to HOH.
Cancellations: If you cannot raise the full amount you will be expected to pay the remaining cost. If you are not able to pay the full amount or for any reason you are not able to attend or have to cancel any payments/donations that have been made at that time will be considered donations to HOH.
Health & Safety: We encourage our travelers to be healthy and in good physical condition. Check with your doctor and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) website to see if you need any vaccinations or prescription medicines before traveling to Haiti. PHoH is not responsible for any health issues that may arise and we strongly advise to follow your physician's recommendations. Also we recommend purchasing medical evacuation insurance.
