TRAVEL WITH US
Each trip, we focus on a main project to help enrich the lives of the children at House of Hope and Hope 12:21 orphanages. We also reach out into the community of Montrouis and visit schools, churches, and other villages in the area. We encourage bringing supplies and activities for the children at the orphanage on each trip. Medical supplies, educational supplies, clothing, shoes and toys are always needed. With each trip we will collect specific items to bring relevant to the needs at the time.
2019 Haiti travel dates
January 3-9 Holiday Celebration
We will have a fun and exciting week celebrating with the children although it will be post Christmas, the kids will have a great time with gifts, parties, workshops and much more. In addition to a bonus concert from a special guest. More information to come!! $1000.00 per person. Registration will close November 1st if it does not fill prior. Completed
Our late February trip is an open trip. We are looking forward to spending time with the children at House of Hope, Le Refuge School our Heroes of Hope Soccer team and all of our friends in the community. The weather is beautiful this time of year. Come share your gifts and join us. $1000.00 per person. Registration will close December 15th if it does not fill prior.
June 9-16 Camp Get Out and Play
Enjoy our 3rd Summer “Camp Get Out and Play” Hosting many children from the Montrouis and Lanzac area. We celebrate the beauty of Haiti exploring, crafting, playing sports and so much more. Come join us and bring the joy of Summer Camp to the children we love and serve in Haiti. An additional week may be added to this trip if you have a group of 5 or more and need to come the week prior of after. *$1000.00 per person. Registration open
August 12-19 Dance Camp and Wellness Retreat
We will host one of our most exciting groups, our friends at Project Grace. If you love to dance, teach dance (tap or ballet) this is the trip for you! Or if you want to be a part of an amazing team of awesome individuals, then this is the trip for you too. In addition you will be part of Yoga classes, a kids fun run, and so much more as we immerse ourselves in the beauty of Haiti all while sharing our gifts with those we love and serve. This trip is always full sign up now and don’t miss out on a trip of a lifetime. *$1000.00 per person. Registration CLOSED

Included in the cost of the trip:

Cost: The average cost of a trip is $1400. A $250.00 deposit is required upon acceptance of the trip. 1/2 cost of the trip is due 60 days prior to the trip and remaining 1/2 us due 30 days prior to the trip. Group rates and Alumni rates are available. *$1000.00 average cost per person per trip. The price may change due to specific projects or activities.
Airfare: Airfare is not included. However, you will receive suggested flight information at least 45 days prior to your trip and your flight must be booked at least 30 days prior to the trip.
Fundraising: You are welcome to fundraise for your trip as donations made in your name to HOH are considered tax-deductible. Any money raised over the cost of your trip will be considered an in kind gift to HOH.
Cancellations: If you cannot raise the full amount you will be expected to pay the remaining cost. If you are not able to pay the full amount or for any reason you are not able to attend or have to cancel any payments/donations that have been made at that time will be considered donations to HOH. HOH can not refund any payments due to cancelation. However your deposited funds will be used towards a future trip made within 12 months of cancelation.
Health & Safety: We encourage our travelers to be healthy and in good physical condition. Check with your doctor and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) website to see if you need any vaccinations or prescription medicines before traveling to Haiti. PHoH is not responsible for any health issues that may arise and we strongly advise to follow your physician's recommendations. All travelers who join PHoH are required to have medical and security evacuation travel insurance to participate on a trip. (we can give you suggestions on an Insurance Co.)
